My CCR

How Do I integrate technologies in this project? For this project I started off trying out a bunch of different Canon cameras to see which ones I felt would be best and easiest to work with. I'm not exactly a wiz with cameras so this was really my first time ever filming something, especially of such importance. I narrowed it down to me just using one the Alpha cameras due to it having what seemed to be the easiest controls. I only used my phone to film one of the scenes I had...and that was because it was a last minute thing I had to do, due to it being the deadline to submit. When it comes to the editing software I used.. I used Adobe Premier Pro and I even tried using photoshop and Canva. Canva was used for me to edit my movie poster (which turned out great) and I used photoshop to try and make the background darker on a couple scenes I had. Overall I would say the stuff I used turned out to be very efficient in my editing process and I even learned a couple new things since i...

Final Video OverView

So In the end after all of the hectic work I did with filming and editing I finally got my video done. It includes music, dark lighting, and different kinds of shots. I am overall very satisfied with my video and how it turned out, although I feel I could of did a few things a little different. I generally stuck with the idea I had in the beginning, but I did change it from a film that has dialogue to one that is silent (so a silent film). When making this as I was in the process of recording it never slipped my mind that I ended up not following my script... but I can say that it turned out to (in my opinion) be better than what I ever thought it would be. Especially for my first time.

Lethargic

Ok so I initially planned for my video to be titled Delicacy, but that wasn't what it ended up being. I went with the name Lethargic due to me showing my teacher my film and her giving me feedback kind of had me change my mind about some things. Something she said that stood out with me specifically though was her asking me what my film was called, and that she couldn't figure out the concept of why it was called that. I took what she said in to account and realized that not even I understood what it meant. The name I went with in the end was Lethargic. Lethargic could mean DULL, LACK OF ENERGY, and even SLOW. People had mixed feelings about why I had minimum movement in my film and why I had "red cups" and things moving slow, but I feel that the title of my film explains it all. My 2 minute opening showed Slowness clearly since I purposely slowed down the clips to get that effect. My 2 minute opening showed Dullness, being that I purposely set the scenery to be black...

DELICACY

Delicacy is the new updated name of my film. Originally the name was going to be some name I felt wasn't very original and would contradict my thoughts on wanting a film that was all around different than anyone else. There has been talk in my media studies class that one of the films that were entered recently is just so amazing and so I felt the need to step up my game. In the previous blog I spoke about recording myself when I'm working. I said I would be recording me filming and helping others but I thought to also record myself as I write my blogs. (which I am currently doing) In order for me to differentiate myself from others in my class not only have I made a script that no one has done but I am also doing a movie poster. I wont tell everything that I have in store for my film since I would like it to be a surprise to even the person reading this right now but I will say what I have planned is going to be AMAZING!

From Now On

HI....I haven't been here in a while. The way I intended to be posting my blogs haven't exactly went that way. Not because what I decided I would do didn't work but because I haven't lived up to what I said. To be honest I can't even remember everything I said that I would do but I do know that from now on, being that I will be filming my stuff I thought it better to instead record my progress and upload it here for individual blogs. I will even be recording when I will be helping others with their films, since I am an actor for them. I thank everyone reading this for being so patient in waiting for me to return but I'm back for good now with more dedication

Labrinth

Since my film is replicating Euphoria I thought it would be a smart idea for me to use some of the music that they used as well.  The reason why this post is titled "Labrinth" is because Labrinth is the artist of most if not all of the songs written and sung in the show.  Labrinth is currently 33 years old  He was born in London, Borough of Hackney He has 5 siblings  His birthday is January 4th, 1984 Songs of his such as MOUNT EVEREST, ALL FOR US, FOREVER, IM TIRED, and many other songs have been featured on the Euphoria sound track. Instead of me using the original versions of the songs, I will be using the tiktok versions, specifically because It shows a more diverse form and it also has the time of how long the song is so that would make it easier for me to measure the 2 minutes of my film without going over it. The reason why you see Zendaya in this is because even though she didn't make the song she was featured on a couple of them which were the main ones used ...
